On Friday, August 29, 2025, under the lights in Plain City, the Corner Canyon Chargers traveled north and delivered a statement performance, overwhelming the Fremont Silverwolves with a commanding 67–21 victory.
Corner Canyon led 14–7 after the first, extended to 24–7 at the half, and then exploded in the third with 29 points, setting the tone for the rest of the night
Midway through the third, after a brief Fremont rally, Corner Canyon responded with five consecutive touchdowns, turning what was once a tight contest into a blowout.
Quarterback Helaman Casuga was unstoppable. He threw for 342 yards and four touchdowns, also adding two rushing touchdowns of his own.
King Cooper made a huge impact on the ground, breaking loose for a 60-yard rushing touchdown and finishing with 114 yards and two scores.
In the aerial attack, Jesean Mayberry hauled in seven catches for 185 yards and a touchdown. Other contributors included Weston Briggs, with a touchdown reception, and Diesel Dart and Kelen Gold, each finding the end zone via the air as well.
