Over half the food we eat now is ultra-processed. But when you start swapping some of it for more whole foods, it really can shift how you feel. More energy, fewer cravings, better focus. And over time, it supports your long-term health too.
I started unprocessing my meals when I was working long shifts as a junior doctor, after being diagnosed with a heart condition that made me step back and rethink my lifestyle.
Since then, I’ve found simple and realistic ways to reduce ultra-processed foods without overcomplicating things.
