Full Written Recipe for Healthy Jowar Dosa with Ingredients & Method
Ingredients :-
For Jowar Dosa Batter :
Jowar Flour (ज्वार का आटा) - 1 Cup
Upma Rawa (उपमा रवा) - 1/4 Cup
Rice Flour (चावल का आटा) - 1/4 Cup
Salt As Taste (स्वादानुसार नमक)
Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 Tsp
Black Pepper (काली मिर्च)- 1/2 Tsp (Freshly Coarsed)
Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 2 Nos (Chopped)
Curry Leaves (करी पत्ता) - 15-20 Nos (Chopped)
Fresh Coriander (हरा धनिया) - Handful
Water (पानी)- 3 Cups (Double Amount of Flour)
Method :
Add jowar flour, Upma Rawa & Rice Flour to a large mixing. Add salt, cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, black pepper, and coriander. Gradually add water (double the quantity of dry ingredients). Whisk slowly and continuously to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Make sure the batter is thin and free-flowing, with no lumps remaining. Once the jowar dosa batter is ready, cover it with a lid. Let the batter rest for 10–15 minutes.
For Green Coconut Chutney :
Fresh Coconut (ताज़ा नारियल) - 1 Small Size
Roasted Peanut (भुनी हुई मूंगफली) - 1/4 Cup
Fresh Coriander (हरा धनिया) - Handful
Mint (पुदीना) - Handful
Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 2 Nos
Ginger (अदरक) - 1/2 Inch
Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - Little Bit
Black Pepper (काली मिर्च) - Little Bit
Salt As Taste (स्वादानुसार नमक)
Jaggery (गुड़) - 2 Small Piece
Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस) - Half
Ice Cubes (बर्फ) - 2 Small Cubes
Water (पानी) - As Required
Method :
Add fresh coconut pieces to a mixer grinder jar. Add roasted peanuts, coriander, mint, green chillies, and ginger. Add cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, and jaggery. Squeeze in lemon juice and add 2 ice cubes to retain the green color. Add a little water. Grind using pulse mode, slowly and gently. Prepare a coarse-textured green coconut chutney
For Making Dosa :
Onion (प्याज़) - As Required (Chopped)
GHEE (घी)- Little Bit (For Frying)
Panner (पनीर) - Little Bit (Grated)
