Sporting institutions and health organisations were there too. Gisborne Herald advertising manager Kirsten Hopkins said the career expo presented a chance to talk to education providers and engage in conversations with students who were about to leave school. “It is always a very exciting event as students realise what is available for them — it opens their horizons and gets them thinking.”
