In this video, we solve two important electrostatics problems from the SBT book (Questions 51 and 52) involving electric field due to a charged line bent into a circular shape.
🔹 Question 51
An infinitely long line charge is bent in a U-shape as shown in the figure.
The semicircular part has radius R and linear charge density λ.
Using the results obtained in the previous problems, we calculate the electric field intensity at the center of the circle.
🔹 Question 52
Repeat the above problem if the semicircular part is replaced with a quarter circle.
