Set in a historic house in Barranco, Isolina has become one of Lima’s most popular restaurants since opening its doors. The classic home-style Criolla (Creole) food inspired by the owner’s mother’s recipes is what keeps everyone coming back.

This place serves proper comfort food but done to the highest of standards. I thought it would be a great first restaurant to share so you get an idea of how us locals actually eat at home. The flavours are rich & intense and really make a statement. I can’t recommend it enough. You shouldn’t leave Lima without trying it!
