This tiger bread recipe will certainly maul your taste buds. In a good way. Yeah, there might be a bit of faffing on here and there - but it's better to spend your time making this than conspiring to murder one of your enemies. A satisfying crunchy topping, with a slightly nutty flavour and soft crumb. I still can't believe how good this is toasted with lashings of butter. When I eat this I lose my mind and get the urge to keep dozens of apex predators in cramped unsanitory conditions. But it's all good, 'cos I never get around to actually doing it. Tiger Bread full recipe
500g White bread flour
1.5 tsps salt
1 tsp sugar
1 sachet of dried yeast (7g)
300ml luke warm water
50ml sesame oil
Coating
50g rice flour
0.25 tsp salt
0.5 tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
50ml luke warm water
level tsp dried yeast (around 3g)
Bake buns in a preheated oven at 200 Celcius fan setting for around 25 minutes.
By the way, if you want to bake this as one loaf you'll need to bake for 45 minutes at 180C fan setting. Enjoy.
