On the Berlin Stadtbahn in an ET 165 from 1927

This original VHS video was taken in Berlin, September 2000.
An old Stadtbahn train was transported from the old workshop in Hundekehle by Grünewald to the workshop in Schöneweide.
The norwegian group participating in the "Nyborg Tours" arrangement that year were allowed to travel on the train from Hundekehle to Ostbahnhof.
Today, 20 years later we can see that a lot has changed in the Berlin train world since then.
Unfortunately I took no scene from the Lehrter Stadtbahnhof where the Berlin Hauptbahnhof is situated today.
At that time nobody knew that this protected station was to be demolished only a few years later.
I have left the original sound in the video. That means we hear a lot of background talk, but we can also hear the sounds of the old Stadtbahn train.
