The Alhambra is based on the Jordan Bosstone, a very early fuzz circuit in the world of pedals. It ranges from a hairier germanium style boost to full-on searing fuzz. There are plenty of sweet spots in between and its ability to clean up with a guitar's volume knob gives it an wide array of distortion options. I had so much fun playing this thing the last few days. I would've liked to have tried it with humbuckers but my Tele is currently out of commission.
