From the place of the dark moon
I celebrate blessed birth
I celebrate the womb of creation
I celebrate the womb of my own
Giving life to two beautiful children
Giving life to creation to weave worlds through song and through the strokes of a paintbrush

Today I give birth and release 'The Womb'
A journey of recording live-off-the-forest-floor
a creation that has been in gestation for several years
from a song that sailed upon the wind while living high upon a mountain, off-grid and remembering how to bleed once again
.
This song is an epic from the album 'Revival'
Over 7 minutes of women singing about sacred blood from the centre of creation
A moon-time anthem
If modern culture is still a little squirmy about it all..
then... Oh well!
It will be sung loud and proud anyway

And so I present
The Womb

I am with a depth of gratitude for the land, waters, mountains, forests and valleys within the traditional and ancestral territory of the Sinixt təmxʷúlaʔxʷ where this song was conceived and video recorded
