He was physician and professor of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
This is an essay from the book ‘The student Life and Other Essays’.
This essay begins with the idea that ‘the second interesting object of the study after a lover is a student’.
Many great philosophers and poets have tried to understand and interpret what actually makes the student life so different from others.
The essay also depicts an encouragement for students especially in the medical field.
Teacher is just a senior friend. All the students are good but some are genius so they are quite different.
Students shouldn’t wait for the best time to start the work and the need to work very hard. They should travel that helps to get knowledge.
