The short story 'My Greatest Ambition ' by Morris Luire is one of Australia’s profolic writers. He was born in Melbourne in 1938. He is better known for his short stories though he has written some novels too. He has won several awards in Australia for fiction.
Characters:
a. Narrator: The narrator is a thirteen year old who wants to be a comic strip
Artist.
b. Narrator’s father and mother
c. Michael Lazarus: Narrator’s classmate who gave him the idea of publishing his comic strip in the Boy Magazine.
d. Mr. Randell : Editor of Boy Magazine who offered the narrator fifteen pounds for the job
e. Miss Gordon :who fixed the appointment time for the narrator in the Boy Magazine.
