Fit a Snorkel or Raised Side Vent? - Freelander 1

Описание: Couldn’t decide whether to fit a snorkel or raised side vent for my Freelander. I didn’t want to spend a lot and bought cheaply, see buying links below. I got the parts ready for both but went with the side vent as the current solution, but the plan is the same for a snorkel, which is discussed and shown.

To get the 45 degree pipe to fit in the 80mm ali tube cut the end off with the wider bit and grind the edge down a bit on a grinding wheel. It’s a tight fit. Seal it on with polymer sealant.
