How to Preserve your Freelander - Protect from Rust - Make it Live Longer!

Описание: This could also be called “Jobs to do in Coronavirus lockdown”! Or “How to protect your car”. A recent job I did making my Freelander 1 last longer and give less hassle on future MOT tests by protecting it from rust. Well worth doing if you plan on keeping this car for a few years. Waxoyling the underneath where rust shows or is starting, fixing mud traps and where rust on the sill starts, removing rust from brake drums and discs and protecting brake pipes is shown in this video.
It’s best to remove the wheel arch liners front and back and remove the rear wheel arch (front part of it) for best access. Nothing too hard.

It is in various forms. Personally I use the 5l refill cans and refill by 1 litre can that I use with an underbody Shultz coating gun (air line powered), but you can get aerosol cans of it as well.
