Patrick Decker vs. Ewgenij Milchin & Vincent Senkbeil (3. Tischtennis Bundesliga Nord 2023/24)

Описание: No change of situation from the last league game: still no training possible due to my hurting knee problems. Considering I'm not training at the moment, a current record of 6:6 is okay but yesterday there was a good chance to win both matches because SC Buschhausen arrived without their Brasilian number one pro-player Carlos Ishida (which I've beaten last season two times) who's in his homeland and who played the Pan American Games a few weeks ago.

So I had to play against Ewgenij Milchin in my first match, a save half distance player who played really good at that day plus (apart from my injury) I played absolutely conceptless, powerless and I made too many simple ball losses. So I lost 0:3 at the end even if there was a good chance in set 3 in which he had some annoying edge balls which prevented me from finding my way back into the game.

Without any break I directly went into the next match because Dominik let himself be set up tactically so that our chances are better to win against a bit weakened team from SC Buschhausen.
I often played against Vincent, so an open game as usual was expected. I had a good and focused start into the match and won the first and third set relatively high but in the final set I was way behind with 0:5 but I could win the game with 11:7.

All in all I'm satisfied but actually, my goal was to win both games for helping my team to make an important 5:5. So, we're still at the bottom of the table and we definitely have to start out comeback very soon (with a healthy team). Currently five out of six players are injured or unfit for action. Something like this has never happened before.
