Remember to subscribe. The Little Corella is type of cockatoo, making it one of Australia's parrots. They are very adaptive so when their habitat was destroyed and replaced by farming, they learned to feeding on seed and cereal crops, often in large numbers. Also as their habitat has been altered (or removed) they have been able to extend their range to accommodate this, by using new food sources. Originally they were not found so close to the coastline but now they are plentiful here, because of this adaptive strategy in response to changing habitat. They are least concern for wildlife numbers because of this adaptive capacity. The yellow flowers @8 seconds are beach primrose. The large purple flower @8 seconds is goats foot vine. At 37 seconds and 1m 37 seconds there is a very small blackish red flower which is a type of beach bean.
After I uploaded this video my friend who is a school teacher emailed me to say that there is a spelling mistake in the music credits at the end of the video, the second "u" is missing from ukulele, sorry about that, I am slightly too busy and missed it.
