This little auk colony was filmed at Ingeborgfjellet, a mountain in Svalbard in the Norwegian Arctic Circle where little auks nest in the rocky scree slopes.

This was filmed on the edge edge of the colony little auk colony and I was able to see how the little auks were nesting in the gaps in between the rocks.

Land view
I've only ever seen little auks off a boat, but to be on land with them like this is really special.
One's just gone into the rocks, it must have a nest tucked away in there.

Little awk sound
I absolutely love the sound that they make, it almost sounds as if they're laughing at us.
