About the Trail:
The Lakes Trail starts at the Wolverton trailhead (around 7,200 ft) and climbs approximately 2,300 feet over 6.2 miles to Pear Lake. It's a moderate to strenuous hike that rewards you with incredible alpine views.
What You'll See:
Along the way, you'll pass several stunning lakes including Heather Lake, Emerald Lake, and Aster Lake before reaching Pear Lake at about 9,500 feet. The trail features beautiful granite peaks, crystal-clear alpine waters, and peaceful wilderness camping.
