► ABOUT THIS HIKE
From my starting point at Barrage de Moiry, this hike traverses one of Switzerland's largest glacial lakes (Lac de Moiry) and comes face-to-face with the Moiry Glacier. This route also included a steep 1800ft. climb to Col de Sorebois. This section of trail is part of the renowned Walker's Haute Route which is a multi-day trek from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland.
