In this video I'm going to show you how I clean cheap Roman Coins that you can find all over the intenet and that are offered as: Uncleaned Roman Coins. These coins are often offered in a lot and cost somewhere between one and five euro each. These coins are found all over Europe by people who search with a metal detector. These coins come especially from Turkey and the Balkan region. I use Fiberglass Pencils from Le Crayon à André to clean these coins, you can easily find these pencils on the internet. I know, everybody uses different techniques to clean these coins. But this is what I do an like! I wouldn't recommend this cleaning method on coins that are rare or valueble. And remember, not every coin is picture perfect, these Roman Coins are 17 Centuries old! I hope this video is somehow usefull to you. You just have to try and see what works best for you. There's no accounting for taste, I like these old coins better with some of the dirt still on there. You can decide for yourself what you prefer and how clean you want the coin. Good Luck!
