A Stunning Roman Coin and a Wonderful Medieval Cross Brooch! Metaldetecting in the Netherlands!

Описание: Some months are just unforgettable... In this Metal Detecting video you can see me find an Amazing Roman coin. Still so detailed on both sides after being lost for over 1800 years! It's an Antonianus coin from emperor Gallienus from when he reigned the Roman Empire between the year 260 and 268 A.D. And I have also found a Medieval Cross Brooch from the Carolingian period from somewhere around the year 1000 A.D. I have also found a couple of silver coins, one from the Dutch city of Zwolle, one from the city of Kampen, a half Reaal from Spain from somewhere around the year 1500 A.D. This coin was issued by Ferdinand and Isabella from Castile this coin did not only make a long journey but was also clipped for silver proffits back in the days, and last but not least: a cut half penny from 13th Century Scotland, issued by Alexander III. All these metal detecting finds were done in Friesland, that's the Northern part of the Netherlands. Fun to see how coins travel the world, I found a coin from Spain, Scotland and nowadays Italy (Rome) here in the Netherlands. Hope you liked watching this video!
