Calling all Roanoke business owners, nonprofits, and developers – there's a new clean energy financing tool that can help you save money while being kind to the environment.
Roanoke’s Sustainability Outreach Coordinator Leigh Anne Weitzenfeld and Economic Development Director Marc Nelson join If You Noke You Know to talk all about the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program (C-PACE), which provides upfront capital to businesses for upgrading their buildings with energy-efficient, renewable energy, and resiliency systems.
Roanoke is the 22nd locality in Virginia to join the program, which is operated by the Virginia C-PACE Authority. As they explain in this episode, the funding is versatile enough to help with projects both big and small.
