Drunk Woman Found in Empty Parking Lot with Airbags Deployed

Описание: On June 20, 2024, Cuyahoga Falls police officers responded to a single car motor vehicle accident with airbags deployed. Officer Elkins arrived first to discover a 33-year-old woman sitting behind the driver's seat in an empty parking lot. She indicated that she entered the parking lot from the corner out near the intersection. It appeared that the speed in which she hit the curb caused damage to her wheels, which resulted in her airbags deploying. Because she admitted to consuming alcohol, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for DUI. The police report indicates she submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.229% BAC. She was ultimately charged with Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI), having a prohibited breath alcohol concentration of over 0.17%, and failure to maintain control (of her vehicle).
