Born with a nervous system disorder, Oaklynn lives with several life-threatening diagnoses that require constant attention and frequent hospitalizations.
Make-A-Wish Illinois and the community of Chatham rallied together to celebrate Oaklynn on her wish day to have her own parade. She spent the whole day smiling and dancing as she visited with dozens of friends, family and community members who came out to participate.
Because Oaklynn loves attention and interacting with friends and family, a day filled with both was the perfect wish for her. From the local police department to a group of pageant queens and the school band, Oaklynn was surrounded by joy and support.
