Hi Everyone,
This is the biggest myth that you should not eat white rice if you are on weightloss. This is so not true. I lost 17 kg last year and I ate rice once a day. It’s all about balancing macros in the meals.
Sharing today three rice recipes which I enjoyed in my weightloss journey.
1. Soya Bhurji Chana Pulao
Serves : 1
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup white rice ( We need 100 gm boiled rice only.)
30 gm soya granules
1 tsp oil
7-8 ginger slices
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/3 cup sliced onions
1 sliced tomato
1/3 cup mix bell peppers sliced
100 gm Black chana
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
Mint Chutney
Ingredients
30 gm Fresh Cilantro leaves (Taste will be great if you will add a little bit of stems too)
22 gm Fresh mint leaves
15 gm onions
1 garlic clove
1 green chilli
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/3 tsp normal salt + 1/3 tsp black salt
1/2 tsp chaat masala
2 tsp water
2 ice cubes
1/2 lemon juice
2. Tofu & Vegetables Pulao
Serves : 2
Ingredients
1 tsp + 2 tsp Avocado Oil or any other cooking oil
200 gm Tofu
1 Cup White Rice
Water to boil rice
1 tbsp sliced ginger
60 gm Sliced Onions
90 gm shelled pigeon peas or Simple peas
70 gm Sliced carrots
70 gm sliced mix bell peppers
50 gm broccoli florets
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Fresh cilantro for garnishing
110 gm No fat Curd
2 tsp homemade mint chutney
3. Soya Chana Palak Pulao
Serves : 2
Ingredients:
200 gm Fresh Spinach Leaves
50 gm Mini Soya Chunks
160 gm Boiled White Chickpeas
1 cup sliced onions
2 tsp oil
1 tbsp sliced ginger
2-3 garlic pods finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 green chilli chopped
Salt as taste
1/3 tsp red chilli powder
