My New Life in Rural Shimanto, Kochi, Japan | Exploring Nature and Beach Adventures // Japan Vlog 51

I'm staying at a stunning nature resort nestled in the mountains, and I can't wait to share this experience with you.

🏡 First off, I'm absolutely thrilled to have a cozy 4-person cottage all to myself. It's a perfect retreat in this serene environment. The resort's main house is impressive, featuring an onsen (hot spring bath), a gym, and a spacious kitchen. The natural beauty surrounding this place is simply breathtaking, with a tranquil river right on our doorstep.

🍛 Today was a day of exploration and delicious Japanese cuisine. My friend Manon and I ventured out for lunch and indulged in some mouthwatering gyudon, also known as a beef bowl. We couldn't resist picking up some traditional Japanese treats and topped it all off with dessert at a charming Japanese tea house.

🏯 Our next stop was the awe-inspiring Iwamoto Temple, where we soaked in the rich history and spirituality of the place. Then, we headed to the supermarket to stock up on essentials for our beach adventure.

🏖️ Finally, it was time to hit the beach! The sandy shores were incredibly soft, with no rocks or seaweed in sight. The waves were massive, and we had an absolute blast playing in the surf.

🚿 After our beach escapade, I returned to my cottage for a relaxing shower, followed by preparing a delicious dinner. I also had a heartwarming video chat with my husband, bridging the miles between us. And, of course, I wrapped up my day by putting the finishing touches on a new video for my YouTube channel.
