Welcome to my latest adventure in Kochi, Shikoku! 🗾 I’ve moved to this remote corner of Japan to volunteer at a nature resort surrounded by lush forests and tranquility. It’s been such an incredible experience, especially since the manager of the resort is Manon—an old friend I haven’t seen in 10 years! 👩‍🤝‍👩✨

🛐 Collecting goshuin (beautiful temple stamps) while exploring the famous **88 Temple Pilgrimage**—a spiritual and scenic journey like no other.
🐾 Fun detours along the way—sake breweries 🍶, cute cats 🐈, peaceful shrines ⛩️, and even quick snack runs at convenience stores 🍡.

💖 *Why I loved this experience:*
The road trips with Manon were the highlight of my stay. She’s such a kind and thoughtful travel buddy, always asking what I wanted to see and do. Together, we explored so much of Shikoku’s unique charm, from its serene temples to its stunning landscapes. 🌏
