50 shades of grain | Braud 505 classic combine | Harvest 2016

Описание: This small Braud 505 combine is somewhat of a rarity in Holland and even it its home country France. This machine was build around 1966 which means it has completed its 50th harvest this season! It has been cutting the wheat on this family farm for exactly 30 years now and never missed a beat. It has since been refurbished with love by the owner and his brother. Also take notice of the immaculate Fendt 818 on the headland!

The 505 model was build by Braud between 1966 and 1974 in France. It has a 5,8L 6 cylinder Perkins A6.354 engine that pushes out a modest but plentiful 105 HP, making it the largest in the four model range (502, 503, 504 and 505). The grain tank measures 3.200L which means it can take about 2.4 tonnes of wheat.

The grain is threshed by a 105 cm wide threshing drum that is 55 cm in diameter. The seed is further separated out by 4 4,3m long straw walkers. This machine has a 310 cm wide header but a 360 cm version was also available. Somewhat unique is the dust distraction system mounted on the feeder housing, which draws dust away from the driver, who is sitting in an offset position.
