The classic Italian pasta dish, served with homemade tagliatelle.
Join me as I use beef cheeks and pork mince, along with the traditional soffritto (diced celery, carrots, onions and garlic) and a handful of other ingredients to make a delicious bolognaise sauce.
Though, my favourite part of this video is the pasta making part. I've been experimenting and trying out different types, shapes, fillings, and colours of pasta for a while now, and it's a continuing source of happiness for me! I hope you have a go and let me know how you get on!
Also... one of the best things about this recipe is that you can freeze the leftovers and it makes a great quick mid-week dinner with the dried pasta you have in the cupboard.
What you need for the Ragu
Ground pork
Beef cheeks / Ox Cheeks
Pancetta
Olive oil
Red wine
Beef stock
2 x 400g tinned tomatoes
1 Onion
tomato puree
Celery
Garlic
Carrots
1 small chili
What you need for the pasta
00 flour
Eggs
The ratio is 100g of flour : 1 egg
