Ingredients
7 oz (200g)dried plum
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp pink salt
1/4 tsp chili powder
2 Tbsp char Magaz (Mellon seeds)
Powder of 4-5 green cardamom
2-3 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp chopped almonds
1 1/2-2 cups water
Steps
1. In a pot add dried plums, 1 1/2 -2 cups water, and sugar. Let it cook on medium heat until it boils and sugar is dissolved. Lower the heat and cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until plums are plump and soft.
2. Add salt, black pepper, and chili powered and cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
3. In the plums mixture add cardamom seeds, melons seeds, and almonds. Cook until it reaches your desired thickness on low heat.
4. At the end and vinegar and turn off the heat.
Put in a jar when it comes to room temperature and refrigerates.
