The first two days of our adventures in the Trossachs National Park, Scotland.
After an 8 hour, overnight drive from London to the Trossachs, we parked the car at Callander and hiked 20 miles to the Western Point of Loch Ard.
Day 2 started as a cold one. In typical Scottish fashion it rained all night and the temperature was significantly lower the next day. We decided to change our route from Loch Ard to Loch Lomond, instead choosing for a shorter route to Loch Drunkie.
Whilst Loch Ard was incredibly beautiful, Loch Drunkie was a reservoir and therefore less picturesque. Regardless, the woods surrounding Loch Drunkie are mossy, quiet and peaceful.
