Making this dish is surprisingly straightforward with some planning and preparation. Today, I'll share a recipe that uses ingredients readily available in most grocery stores. You can prepare Char Siu using pork shoulders, pork belly, or pork tenderloin, and opt to include or exclude red food coloring. In the video, I'll demonstrate how the appearance of the pork changes with and without the food coloring. Char Siu can be served either as an appetizer or as a main dish.
