Climb of Mt. Wilbur in Glacier National Park July 7, 2018. This is an amazing peak that dominates the backdrop of Iceberg Lake. This is considered a technical peak though some people climb this without a rope. We had a couple close calls on this climb: one person lost footing on a ledge and fell a few feet but wedged into a chimney arresting any further fall. We also had a person take a significant tumble when one of the rap stations failed. We emerged largely unscathed however it was a long, emotionally exhausting day. What should have been a 10 hour day turned into a 22 hour adventure but was one of the most exciting, fun, and memorable climbs ever.
