My first venture north for the Fellsman and a series of near disasters with the filming.
It was a surprise to hear 46115 Scots Guardsman ascending the bank from Clitheroe, but she performed pretty well, although we managed to miss much of the sunshine on offer by selecting an overcast Ais Gill for the first return shot.
Locations: Clitheroe, Blea Moor, Ais Gill, leaving Hellifield and Wilpshire Tunnel.
An early arrival by the train at Blea Moor, plunged me into panic as I was still short of the bridge when I heard the whistle. When I mounted my camera on the tripod I found I could only look through the viewfinder (which I had knocked out of focus!) on tiptoe, but it was too late for any adjustments! Later, we missed the turn for our last sunny location and had to settle for Wipshire tunnel in darkness.
