Описание: This webinar is a part of SMART’s project, "Empowering Indigenous Voices: Strengthening Clean Energy Pathways through Knowledge Mobilization for a Net-Zero Future."

This project is funded by Future Skills Centre and is designed to engage Indigenous communities, clean energy employers, educational institutions, advocacy groups, and policymakers to create pathways for Indigenous learners, building partnerships that drive long-term capacity and sustainable growth. The goal is to empower Indigenous communities, deliver actionable insights to industry stakeholders, and generate evidence-based recommendations to inform policies that support Indigenous participation and inclusivity in Canada’s clean energy economy.

This webinar presents findings from surveys and interviews with Indigenous community members, as well as information gleaned from attending various relevant conferences.*

This webinar was presented by the Smart Microgrid Applied Research Team (SMART) in collaboration with Johnston Research Inc. SMART is based at the British Columbia Institute of Technology's (BCIT) Centre for Applied Research and Innovation. SMART is a dedicated applied research group within BCIT’s Centre for Applied Research and Innovation, committed to advancing Smart Grid technologies both nationally and internationally. Johnston Research Inc. Johnston Research Inc. has been working closely with communities since 2001 to provide indigenous evaluation and policy research services.
