On occasion of the exhibition WACK! Art and the Feminst Revolution, by Conny Butler at the MOCA in Los Angeles, where Mary Bauermeisters artwork "Needless Needles" (1963, collection Museum Ludwig, Cologne) was exhibited, we flew to Los Angeles for the opening; Mary Bauermeister, Christel Schüppenhauer and Gregor Zootzky.
This movie is a documentary of our stay in LA. Mary met many female artist at that place, such as Carolee Schneemann, Yvonne Rainer, Katharina Sieverding and many other female artists who had a contribution to the exhibitions topic.
