銀髮伉儷獲基金資助 改寫人生雙雙重現笑容​ Elderly Couple Receives Gift of Restored Health and Joy​

Описание: 華姐與丈夫相守多年，一起經歷了人生的重重挑戰，暮年卻雙雙飽受疾病困擾。華姐的丈夫因中風致行動不便，並患有白內障及腦退化症，直至經香港港安醫院—荃灣義工轉介，獲「金晴火眼慈善白內障手術計劃」資助，免費完成白內障手術，術後不但重見光明，胃口亦改善，對生活明顯重燃盼望。​

華姐在丈夫狀況轉佳後，才透露自己患腦疾多年，長期受暈眩及頭痛纏繞，但排期公院檢查需時，經常因病情而忐忑不安。她及後獲「慈善診斷影像」計劃資助，免費接受磁力共振檢查，始發現腦部有動脈瘤及血管栓塞，得以轉介專科跟進。華姐衷心感謝所有捐款者的善心，讓她終於找出多年病因，能安心照顧丈夫及規劃未來，「不止是幫助，更是一份溫暖的關懷」。​

Auntie Wah and her husband have stood by each other for many years, weathering life’s challenges together. In their later years, however, both suffered from illness. Auntie Wah’s husband had mobility issues as a result of a stroke, in addition to cataracts and dementia. Thanks to a referral by Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan volunteers, he received support from the Charity Cataract Surgery Program and underwent free cataract surgery, which enabled him to not only regain his vision, but also his appetite and a renewed sense of hope.​

It was not until after her husband’s condition improved when Auntie Wah revealed that she herself had been battling brain disease for many years, enduring chronic dizziness and headaches. The long wait for a public hospital examination also left her in constant anxiety. She later received support from the BOG-TW's Charity Diagnostic Imaging program, where a free MRI scan revealed a cerebral aneurysm and cerebrovascular occlusion. She was promptly referred to a specialist for follow-up. Auntie Wah expresses her gratitude to all BOG-TW donors, whose contributions have allowed her to discover the cause of her illness, continue caring for her husband, and plan for the future. “Your support is not simply help, but a gift of warmth and care,” she says.​
