Hello, and welcome to 80/20's product highlight series. Today, we're going to look at the double end fastener. This fastener is virtually invisible once installed, making it the perfect option for hiding connections on your project. It's available across all fractional profile series.

Now the double end fastener comes in three parts; you have two bolts, and you have a wing clip. Now, due to the nature of the double end fastener, your bars are going to need machined. One with two end taps, and the other, with two access holes. More information on the double end fastener machining services can be found in the 80/20 product catalog.

Now when it comes to installing the double end fastener, you're going to start with your end tapped bar. Take your wing clip, and place it over the end taps. From there we'll take our bolts, and slightly engage them into the end taps. Once you have your bolts in, we'll take the other bar with the access holes, and slide it right over the double end fastener. We'll line up our access holes with the bolts, take our wrench, and tighten down firmly. Once tightened, we have a clean hidden connection.
