Описание: Two former fighter pilots, retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Steve Ritchie of Bellevue, left, and Ret. Navy Cmdr. Clarence Borley met for the first time prior to departing on a private jet for Washington, D.C. The two locals will join other Fighter Aces in a ceremony to receive the Congressional Gold Medal. A Fighter Ace is a pilot who shot down at least five enemy planes in combat. Ritchie, 72, flew in the Vietnam War while Borley, 90, fought in the South Pacific during World War II.
