Loose Watercolor Florals | Layering Color & Flow

Описание: Paint a playful floral made from gratitude and paint!l We'll use this expressive intuitive watercolor as a way to experiment and explore with a variety of mediums.

Hi, I’m Tish. Welcome to #28DaysofPlay a February painting series where we explore florals, color, and curiosity as a way to bring softness and beauty into winter.

Today’s focus is mixing color, and I chose watercolor for this session because of how meditative it is to watch the colors blend, bloom, and interact with one another. I build layer after translucent layer, allowing the paint to flow and settle naturally, until a very abstract, mixed garden begins to emerge.

There’s no rush in this process—just patience, observation, and trust. I finish the piece with simple details using a black calligraphy pen and a few dots of white acrylic to add contrast and a bit of pop.

These are real-time painting sessions, shared just as they unfold. They’re meant to stay loose, intuitive, and playful—no perfection and no pressure.
