Sonic Storm is a Sonic fangame developed within Dash Engine in Unreal Engine 4 that aims to answer the question;
"What if a Sonic game was released for the PS1/PSX?"
The game's main focus is its PSX visuals, with a low resolution as well as low poly models that replicate the limitations of the PS1. Another main focus is its UI, which has an electric current/wire feel and look to it.
I highly suggest you try out Demo A. Sonic Storm is of course not complete yet and has some ways to go.
