Dave and myself are out again on Kinder Scout in the Peak Disrict at the start of April. This time were on the northern edge of Kinder, a much quieter place that the Southern side! We headed up Fairbrook from the old Snake Inn and up to Chinese Wall, an impressive gritstone outcrop high up on the northern edge. Dave put his life in the hands of the gods by filming from the very edge of Chinese Wall, a dodgy endeavour in the high winds, especially as he was only 6 inches from disaster! At one point I was sure he was going to get blown off! We then headed off to Fairbrook Naze and then did a steep descent to an old shooting cabin in the beautiful Ashop Clough. From there we finished the adventure by making our way along the rest of Ashop Clough passing through some woods and finishing at the old Snake Inn. A brilliant day in fantastic weather! The next video will hopefully be Dave and myself doing the Kinder plateau circuit with a WILD camp included.
