Join me on a cold and frosty day in April on the North Edge of Kinder Scout as I ascend Fairbrook from the old Snake Inn. A great route up to the impressive rock outcrop known as the 'Chinese Wall'. Brilliant views across to Bleaklow and beyond. Then to a dicey and steep descent across a snow field to Ashop Clough. Stop off at the old ruined shooting cabin and join me in a review of a vintage Karrimor rucksack before heading back to the Snake.
