Out in 23 days | Leaving Taiwan (again) before CNY

Описание: 9 Feb 2026 Monday: We’re cutting our Taiwan trip short after just 23 days to escape the massive CNY hotel price hikes! Join us for a stressful last 24 hours as we navigate the Taipei Main Station maze, brief tour of the hotel in Taipei that cost $47 (US$37) for that Monday night, discover a 2.5 floor at Daiso, and catch our flight out.

In the video, I mentioned leaving our country called Rotten Island to go to Bangkok. But it turns out that hotel price during CNY in Rotten Island didn't skyrocket, so we were able to stay instead of flying off to Thailand. We don't have money anyway to fly unless I sell more gold jewellery.

I did eventually sell a gold bangle just yesterday 27 February but I had to argue with the gold trader just to get a slightly higher price. It's always very unpleasant dealing with gold trader. I wrote about the experience & want to sell that episode for cash unfortunately. 😐

I even talked to Gemini AI to see if I was wrong to argue about the gold price. The AI congratulated me for my successful fight that won me an extra $4.84 extra for that bangle. 😅
