34 Hours There, 30 Back… Just to Bring Him Here

Описание: I did something totally crazy - flew 75 hours over several days just so Alan and I could enter Mexico together for his first time outside Asia!

The journey: Halifax to Montreal to Dubai to Kuala Lumpur (34 hours), stayed 2 days in KL, then Kuala Lumpur to Istanbul to Mexico City with Alan (30+ hours more), followed by a bus ride to Puebla where we'll spend the next month.

Alan has never been outside Asia before and was nervous about Mexico, so I thought flying together would help him feel more comfortable navigating everything from flights to immigration. We crossed 12 time zones going to KL, then 10 time zones coming back to Mexico.

Now we're in Puebla for a month to explore central Mexico's food scene and those magical pueblos. Alan's first reaction to Mexico and whether he'll actually like tacos is coming up in the next videos.
