Pokémon Masters EX - Infinite Health with Gritty 5 Drain Punch (Halloween 2020 Event Full-Force UH)

Last strat I'll show for this Full-Force, it's been a ride.

Marshall is not useless! This isn't my first rodeo trying to activate Gritty on Conkeldurr (showcase vs. Hilda here:    • Pokémon Masters - Marshall vs. Hall 20 Hil...  ) so I have a grasp on what Marshall's limits are. Much like Cheren, a huge liability of activating status on Marshall is that he normally has to tank (a monumental challenge on its own) and hope on random chance for the proc. This Full-Force spreads consistent AoE status and that is a boon in disguise: it's a free 50% boost for Mashall to show how powerful his Gritty 5 Drain Punches truly are. He casually hits for 2k damage which is converted to health in return.

Even with Gritty 5 Marshall's a little lacking for a Full Force of this caliber and Poison Gas limits my options. The enemies just have TOO much health and the backline is very resistant to physical damage. To compensate I paired Marshall with 3/5 Barry. One of Barry's greatest perks is that he fits perfectly on dual striker team comps because he has low bar moves and doesn't compete for gauge at all. Barry also activates Type Skills with SS Blue for a nice HP boost that helps Marshall. SS Blue is my preferred tank for this Full-Force because of Natural Remedy and the gauge acceleration upkeeps Marshall's unfortunate Speed.

The biggest challenge of this battle is Xatu. Conkeldurr is weak to Psychic-type and if he gets by its sync he's looking to eat 2100 damage. I'm not exaggerating, Marshall's defenses are eggmon tier. Barry plays a crucial role in sync nuking Xatu by hitting its weak Sp.Def and netting me a quick pass through the fight.
