The story of the first man and first family ever created was that of disaster and sorrow. One may then wonder what is it with marriage that it can sometimes be so challenging Adam and Eve were not former sinners who were saved from the world of sin. They were not repentant sinners. No previous partners. No body counts. Rather, they were both brand new creations that have never lived anywhere else before. Also, interestingly, they were made by God Himself. Imagine, if two products made by the same manufacturer could not make their marriage work according to purpose, how much more two different individuals, raised from different backgrounds and coming with different expectations.
Why did God create the idea of marriage family What was the purpose of marriage from God’s standpoint

Unfortunately, today many couples come into marriage with different understanding on the purpose of marriage and different expectations from the union. For most couples, their expectations and purposes differ. If this is true of your marriage, it’s not too late to start working towards how to get on the same page in your relationship and build your “house” from identical plans.
