Jabez sought a supernatural intervention to reorder the disorder in his life. By now, we already know that there are two realms, the Natural and the Supernatural. So, these two realms govern the natural world and the supernatural world. Things happen and manifest both in the visible and the invisible forms. Even science acknowledges that there are certain things that are invisible to the physical eyes in this natural world. You may need the aid of certain scientific gadgets to see such things like microorganisms. Simply because they are too tiny and almost invisible in the physical.

This tells us that there are also certain things in existence that are not necessarily small yet they are invisible to the natural eyes. One needs the aid, not of scientific gadgets but of spiritual means to see or access them. So, supernatural intervention is an intervention that comes from spiritual realm into natural realm or from invisible realm to the visible realm.
