Drawing from Micah 6, Fr. Michael reflects on God’s covenant faithfulness and His call for His people to live lives shaped by justice, mercy (hesed), and humility. Scripture reminds us that God does not desire empty sacrifice, but hearts transformed by His steadfast love—lived out toward our neighbors.
As we approach Lent, Fr. Michael invites us to consider not what we might give up, but how we might more fully reflect the mercy we have received in Christ.
