Welcome back to Train Like an Athlete.
Here not just to look good, but to build real athletic skills.
In this episode, I take on two skills that push coordination and confidence. I start with the Backflip, working on technique, takeoff power and getting more comfortable with the rotation. Then I move to the Swing 360, focusing on cleaner spins, smoother transitions and better bar control. I break down what’s improving and what I’m trying to fix this week.
And like an athlete, I end the session with a strong Leg Day. Explosive legs mean better flips, better jumps and more stability — so this workout ties directly into my skill progress.
As always, you’ll see how I balance all this while managing my brand Koozies. I’m not a full-time athlete — and that’s the whole message of this series. If I can train around work and still keep progressing, you can too.
